An Initiative for Art and Research

Minze Tummescheit and Arne Hector Film Workshop

Cinematic Practice: Methods of Research, Camera Work and Film Editing In this four-days workshop we want to share our experience in filmmaking with you.

We'll both give an insight in our practice and support you to develop your own skills. How to find a subject? How to find a filmic expression for my subject? These are the questions we want to start with. In trying out different techniques of camera work like stop motion animation or documentary images, we want you to explore your creative potentials. We are open to all of your ideas and strongly believe in mixing genres at will. The results will be edited in Final Cut (by you!) and finally presented at St. Jakob.

Filmmaking is a collective process. This means for us to care for each other and share what everybody brings and thus go beyond “just” working together for a visible result.
