His film Hypercrisis (2011) was nominated for the European Film Awards at the Venice Film Festival, Venice, in 2011. Dabernig’s works have appeared at international festivals including: International Film Festival, Toronto, 2009; Locarno Film Festival, Locarno, 2008; International Short Film Festival, Oberhausen, 2006; and 29th International Film Festival, Rotterdam, 2000. Catalogs and monographs on his work include: Panorama (2013); Handwritten Copies (2008); and Film, Foto, Text, Objekt, Bau (2005).
