Pedro Gómez-Egaña is an artist and Associate Professor at the Bergen National Academy of Art and Design, Bergen where he runs the Master in Visual Arts program.

He has been a guest lecturer and artist-in-residence at Goldsmiths, London; Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo; the Laban Centre, London; National University of Colombia, Bogota; Teatro Colon, Bogota; and Tanzquartier, Vienna. In 2012 Gomez- Egana completed his practice-based doctoral studies at the Norwegian National Research Fellowships Program with the project Calligraphies. Recent exhibitions and performances include: Musica, Galeria Casas Riegner, Bogota, 2013; Sous nos yeaux, La Kunsthalle, Mulhouse, 2013; Machine Worries Machine Hearts, Blank Projects, Cape Town, 2012; Tegnebiennalen, Oslo, 2012; Destruction of One Someone, W17 Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo, 2011; en abyme, Knipsu, Bergen, 2011; Works and Places, Palazzo Riso Museum, Palermo, 2010; Oktoberdans, Bergen, 2010; and the 1st Brussels Biennial, 2008–2009. Gomez-Egana lives and works in Copenhagen and Bergen.
