He studied History and Theory of Art and Architecture at Universidad de Los Andes, Colombia, Bogota, and Universidade de Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo. Guerrero is currently Associate Artistic Director/Curator of the independent art space TEOR/eTica, San Jose. Recent curatorial projects include: A Journal of the Plague Year. Fear, ghosts, rebels. SARS, Leslie and the Hong Kong story (co-curated with Cosmin Costinas), Para Site, Hong Kong, 2013; Men Amongst the Ruins, TEOR/eTica, San Jose, 2012; Kadist: Pathways into a Collection, Minsheng Art Museum, Shanghai, 2012; The City of the Naked Man, Museu de Arte Moderna de Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, 2010; Flying Down to Earth, MARCO, Vigo, and FRAC Lorraine, Metz, 2010; and Duet for Cannibals, Royal Tropical Institute, Amsterdam, 2010. His writings have appeared in Afterall, ArtNexus, Metropolis M, Nero, Manifesta Journal, and Ramona, among other publications. Guerrero lives and works in Hong Kong and periodically works from San Jose.
