Ivan Melnychuk and Oleksandr Burlaka are architects and members of the Grupa Predmetiv group.
In their work, they document and study urban transformations. Burlaka takes part in the interdisciplinary curatorial association Hudrada. The group’s recent exhibitions include: SPACES: Architecture of Common, Foundation Center for Contemporary Art, Kyiv, 2013; Ukrainian News, Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw, 2013; City Porn, Visual Culture Research Center, Kyiv, 2011; A/B/If, Museum of Contemporary Art, Perm, 2010; and Homestories II, Arttransponder, Berlin, 2009. Melnychuk and Burlaka live and work in Kyiv.
